there's a big difference between
anticipating misfortune and its fruition. the anticipation feels so much worse, heavily laden with anxiety and doubt. what if, what if what if ‘til words aren’t words anymore. at least when the verdict’s in, you can begin to accept the circumstances. i’m tired of so many things being up in the air; it’s suffocating.
